Holiday Programme – October 2021 – Please book by going to: https://skids.aimy.co.nz/

Please see attached the Holiday Programme flyer for October 2021 at sKids Whenuapai. You will note that we are prepared to open if we go down to Level 2 on Wednesday the 6^th of October 2021 (currently Level 3 will continue until Tuesday the 5^th of October at 11.59pm). We won’t send out invoices until the announcement comes through from the government that we are definitely going to Level 2 (as sKids can’t open until we are down to Level 2). Please get your bookings in for the holiday programme as soon as you can as this helps us in having the right number of sKids leaders on as well as the right amount of resources for the day.

COVID-19 Safety Precautions:

Parents and caregivers, at drop-off and pick-up up please wear a mask, sanitise hands, and scan the QR code in the NZ COVID Tracer App. Also make use of our signing in and out of children functionality using your smartphone. Instructions for this will be on-site as well as being emailed out ahead of time.
Make sure children have their own drink bottle, lunchbox, and personal items. Staff will oversee regular hand sanitising and reminder them of personal hygiene habits.
If your child is unwell they must stay home. If they become unwell throughout the day you will be called to collect them immediately. Our cancellation policy for absence due to sickness will be reduced to 24 hours while at Level 2.

No Devices:

Can we please ask that no devices are brought to the programme (except when they need a phone for emergencies, but then the phones need to stay in their bags throughout the time they are at the programme, this is also at the parents/caregivers/children’s own risk, and we accept no responsibility for these devices).

Important things to remember:

At the Holiday Programme please have your children bring morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Although we do provide a helping of fruit every afternoon.

Your child will also need:

Water bottle
Sunscreen/sunhat (please make sure they bring their own sunscreen to avoid cross contamination)

Before and After School Care for Term 4, 2021 – Please book by going to: https://skids.aimy.co.nz/

The before and after school care programmes are also now bookable for Term 4. If you would like to book in for the whole term there are also templates available for you to use. If you would like to book for particular dates then please choose the make a customised booking option.

Special Dates in Term 4, 2021:

25^th October 2021 (Monday) – We are closed for Labour Day.

12^th November 2021 (Friday) – sKids will be open all day 7.30am to 6.00pm as Whenuapai School will be closed for Instructions due to it being a NZEI Teacher Only Day – this is bookable under “Special Day” please note that the website will allow for normal before and after school care to be booked for this day, please try to not book these sessions on the 12^th of November, but if this happens then the booking will be cancelled and credited, the templates have already excluded this day.

16^th December 2021 (Thursday) –Whenuapai School will finish by 12.30pm, this is the last day of Term 4. sKids will be open for Before School Care (7.30 to 8.30am) and will be open for a half day of 12.30 to 6.00pm – this is also already bookable under “Special Day” please note that the website will allow for normal after school care to be booked for this day, please try to not book the after school care session on the 16^th of December, but if this happens then the booking will be cancelled and credited, the templates have already excluded this afternoon.
